Not Impressed Evidently I've reached the stage where I need one. Will wonders never cease!
+ What do you use to colour your art? Formerly Photoshop 7, but now Photoshop CS3 for my digital work. When I use traditional media, I use a mixture of Copic, Prisma and Tria markers, and Prismacolor and Derwent Studio pencils. I also utilise blood, sweat, guts and a reasonable amount of death and destruction.
+ Will you teach me how to draw? Fuck no, I don't have time for that, and you can't really teach anyone how to draw anyway, only teach them how to use the tools. All I can tell you is that it takes years and years of constant practice.
+ Why do you draw so many Death Eaters? Because, as everyone knows, antagonists are far more fascinating than protagonists. The depraved are very, very interesting, especially from a psychological perspective.
+ Do you have a story or comic for your characters that I can read? No. Sorry. I'm still tweaking plotlines and designs, and also my skills as an artist - only once I'm happy with all that will I start drawing the comic. ... I'll let you know how that goes in a decade or so.
+ Why don't you draw more backgrounds? Because I fail at backgrounds. I'm still very, very bad at tackling the dread beast that is perspective. I'm working on it, I promise!
+ Do you do requests? NO. NO AND NO. Also, NO. Stop asking, I'm sick of turning people down.
+ Do you do art trades? No. No time, no particular inclination. The exception is if you're a good friend, in which case yo're probably not reading this FAQ.
+ Do you do commissions? Yes! This is prettymuch the only way you can get art out of me - by paying me. I am a poor student. Please see my commission info for details and status.
+ Can I use your art for icons/sigs/tubes/wallpapers? Yes, no, NO, and maybe. You may use my art for icons to use on LiveJournal and other such blogging sites, on the condition that you credit me. You may not use my art for signatures, even with credit, because forums are teeming with art thieves and it just makes me really uncomfortable. You absolutely may NOT make tubes with my art. No, no and no. As for wallpapers, you can use my art for personal wallpapers on your own computer, but you may not create wallpapers with my art and offer them to others. Common sense, please.
+ Can I use your art to represent my RPG character? Absolutely not. If they're fanart, they're representations of published characters. If they're my original characters, then they are my original characters, IE, NOT yours. Mine. Either commission someone for a picture to represent your character, or draw one yourself. Don't steal my original designs.
Can I just casually steal your Death Eater character designs and concepts, seeing as you don't own the Death Eaters themselves? Hey, fuck you. I don't own the Death Eaters, but for most of the ones I draw, I DO own the visual concept designs and my characterisations of them. Fuck off and make up your own instead of stealing mine. I don't care how much you like them, you're ripping me off and I will troll the shit out of you if I catch you copying them.
+ I have seen someone tracing/copying/reposting your art. What do I do? TELL ME, for the love of all that is holy. I want to know if this is occurring so that I can deal with it myself.
