The Other Minister by madcarrot The Other Minister by madcarrot
For the Harry Potter Art Project.

My first of 2 chapters, this is for Half-Blood Prince, chapter 1, 'The Other Minister'.

In which we meet Rufus Scrimgeour, hard-arsed former head of the Auror Department, and the Prime Minister of Great Britain is momentarily blinded by Fudge's bowler, much like a deer in headlights.

This particular image comes from the end of the chapter, at the point where the PM asks why they can't just use magic against Voldemort. Scrimgeour is hugely unimpressed by this outburst, and Fudge is just thinking WTF.

You have no idea how much pleasure it gave me to colour Fudge's bowler. That is the Power of Canon, ladies and gentlemen.

Great work, especially with the expressions--and the Power of Canon.

I love the British minister's expression! :)

Oh - that's not the British PM, that's Cornelius Fudge, with the amazing lime-green bowler. Both he and Scrimgeour are staring incredulously at the British PM, who would effectively be the viewer. :)

I love Scrimegeour and I love your depiction of him best! Very leonine (love his sideburns...). Oh and Fudge's green bowler hat--perfecto! :)

i dont care for the parings.. xD; but the artwork is spectacular =D

Given that this is canon art, and they're just standing beside one another, I... can't imagine what gives you the impression it's pairing art. :P

hahaha i meant the way you draw up the characters i suppose xD It's pretty true to the books, you don't see that every day or at least I don't. And I know they are not a paring but I've been browsing your pictures and.. well you know what I mean xDDD lol hope to see more ^^
