Rodolphus Lestrange and a Dementor that is about to score. I'm so sorry, Roddy. ;_;

My first try at a painting without outlines... and good lord, it is hard. Which is why I've never seriously tried up until now. :D

It's not perfect, and I know it, but not too bad for a first try, I guess. I used Roddy specifically for the added challenge of doing long hair without an outline. :B

This is pretty epic. Wish I could do digital art like that. I love how you made the dementor creepy as they should be yet still captured a look of hopeless sadness in its face. Your depiction is also more faithful to that in the book. Love it! :)

Maybe i'm mental but i find the picture...sensual in it's own way. Ofcourse the dementor looks creepy, but he just looks...tender too. And the redhead's facial expression just adds to it. Awesome job

I don't know why, but I'm completely in love with that bit of his ear :D And oh yes, I have to agree, his hair is simply gorgeous, especially the strands hanging down over the Dementor's fingers.
Why hasn't anyone commented on the fact Roddy's eyes are closed? Well, I'd probably close them if I were about to have my soul sucked out by a weird wandering corpse, but I think it's exactly what makes the picture look so romantic. In a very, very, very sad way. Awesome job!
