I will say it right now - I don't like it. The colouring isn't that good, and he's not that interesting. The other reason I don't like it is because I know everyone watching me has been waiting for this card, and thus I am pretty sure half of you are going to be disappointed. So I knew all the way through drawing this that it was doomed for failure in some way, me trying so hard to live up to the standards of everyone. :|

But I digress. Other than the fear of expectations of others, I suppose it isn't too bad as a whole.

I was definitely waiting for this one and I LOVE IT!!!
Sexy Snape in all his glory I think its brillant. :drool:
The only thing that I would change is that he seems to be in a very relaxed pose,
some how I think it would be impossible for snape to relax

Huh - I wouldn't call it relaxed. He's meant to look like he's treating some unseen person/thing with a fair amount of disdain and just waiting for it to do something else to annoy him.

I really like it! He expression fits very nicely! The only thing that bugs me is his hand holding the potion bottle. His thumb being on this side and yeah. I couldn't draw anyone holding something like that properly, though.

oh it's not so bad...

mabye its not as slick as the others because you felt obliged to knock it out quickly to satisfy the obsessed fan girls.
Maybe if you tried it again over christmas like you were planning to, you could produce something your much more happy with.

try a couple of poses on scrap first etc...
