Behold! A new project I'm very unlikely to finish. Death Eater cards.

#1 has to be the Dark Lord to rule all Dark Lords, T. M. Riddle-- I mean, Lord Voldemort.

This took way longer than I wanted it to - I have 22 left to go, I believe, and I want them to be as short work as possible to make it more likely I'll actually finish them.

Anyway! The border was drawn by me, and the background was comprised of two 150-year-old book covers melded together and tweaked - my grandfather's grandfather's Gaelic bible, and volume 1 of the Ingoldsby Legends. They smell old and musty. For obvious reasons. :D

Nah. The best Dark Lord is Sauron. Then, a bit down the line, Darth Vader. Beeecause he wears, on his head, the Kettle-Pot o' Doooooooom! It's very stylish. (Too bad no one does pots and pans anymore. :)

No one likes reality, but tough noogies, it's where we happen to exist. Escapism has a time and a place and aggressively trying to force your roleplay fantasy on someone, on their artwork, is extremely inappropriate. If you want to reach out to someone, why don't you compliment their art instead of trying to prove how dark and mysterious you are (in your fantasy)?
